This movie is particularly angst-ridden. I liked the last one, but this is entirely too emo for my taste. Is the book like this?
In fairness, not asking the person you’re destined/supposed to ask to a dance is a very classic and typical adolescent mistake. I think the producers did a good job scripting it that way.
