Tray could be right. I was in Sydney during the summer, well their windera and all the girls that I talked too loved the way I sounded. I not someone that would date someone for the sound of their voice, but it’s added to their over all appeal, much like a great pair of eyes.

You’re a sailor. 'Nuff said. Have you ever been in New York during Fleet Week? It’s like one giant rabbit farm.
LOL, I know what your talkaing about. sadly I’ve miss that one. I’ve always been a west coast sailor.
-Robert
I believe there’s a similar Fleet Week tradition on the West Coast, but I don’t think anyone’s supposed to talk about it.
There is in most port cities like San Fan, San Diego, and Seattle. I’ve been lucky to make it to 3 so far. it’s alot of fun with all the different ships. anymore the commands suggest that you don’t wear your uniforms off duty in fear that someone will attack you for being in the military. I’ve on the other hand had great times out in uniform. some people even offer to pay for my meal or offer me a free drink from time to time.

With any luck, San Francisco is about to become the #1 destination in the nation for fleet week. Stay tuned.
Maybe for a sailing ship, but what I read in the newpapers the city isn’t the number one spot for military. I maybe wrong, haven’t been there in 8years thou.

With all the Huey Lewis love going on, I just have to point you guys to one of the better odes to the band’s greatness, delivered in a delightfully ironic context.
You should go to Berkley in full uniform!
Lol
you want me to die??? :<
I think I’ll stay in Japan.
Cuter girls, anyways.
alright, i am heading down under right away…
Like I said I go there once a year. There are at least 3 really great places I would suggest to see. Sydney, the city is so alive, just so much going on in the harbor, zoo’s, weather, just a great place. Perth a town much like San Diego but with wine, there are vineyards along the black swain river. Brisbane or Gold coast is another place, more suit for college aged people. There is a large art college next to a beautiful park and restaurant area. Another city along a river so there is a lot of great sight seeing.

The internet regularly blows my mind. I can talk to my best friend in London while they’re still in their PJs. When my sister was in Europe in 1995 email wasn’t that popular and I had to try to write to her via Poste Restante and hope the mail was ahead of her trains!
Aren’t they just? I’m an interloper, a newcomer, and everyone has been so helpful and kind
I always thought Dr Pepper was from Dr Pfeffer from Germany, but obviously I was wrong - urban legend?
I like to think he could build his own, the guy can do pretty much anything
The universe hurts my head so I try not to think about it
I’ve got no monopoly - go ahead Would be good to know what week you want to do it though as I won’t bother for that episode then. Only if you feel like posting something, it wouldn’t matter if they get two
Pity you don’t get time off in Melbourne or we could have our own meetup!
How is it when you come to Australia? Walk down the wrong street on a Saturday night and you would be bound to run into trouble I would think
I agree that I wouldn’t be in a relationship with someone on the basis of it, but it could charm the pants off me! And yes, IYKWIM also
I’m pretty sure that the crew would be more than happy to have a couple to choose from every week.
Definitely an urban legend. I can say for sure that Dr Pepper hadn’t even been available in Germany before 2006 and so totally didn’t originate over here.
Herr Doktor Pepper?
whoa, this week’s podcast rocks~! IT rawks y’all~!!.. I’m going stream-of-consciousness now…
[ul]
[li]4 words kept popping up in my head while listening to this week’s podcast : ALL ALONG THE CLOCKTOWER!!
[/li][li]Thank you, thank you, thanks y’all for entertaining my fetish for accents. I am mostly responsible for the “y’all” in this forum (my bad ~~). Yes, it’s me ;p
[/li][li]This is just my own bias, but the only thing sexier than hearing Michaela in her Aussie accent (no disrespect here) would be Andrea Corr in her Irish accent. But that’s just me ~~
[/li][li]I can’t believe (yet again) that you guy TOTALLY missed discussing about the COMEDIC GENIUS that is Christopher Lloyd~! Did that just fly over your heads (I’m a bit miffed…grrr ;p)? He’s the guy who executive produced hit comedies like Frasier…come on, you guys…~!!
[/li][/ul]
Dr. Pepper most definitely originated in Texas. I’ve seen the museum in Waco.
I meant to call in this observation: The only key thing the crüe failed to discuss is the theme music. Can you imagine Back to the Future with that remarkable theme?
