Especially at the end. Everytime I watch it I can’t believe I didn’t see that ending coming. I think I was so drawn into the film. It’s Ed Norton’s best performance and that’s saying a bunch.

It is an awesome movie but I liked The Believer better, then again I think Ryan Gosling is a brilliant actor and deserved some serious recognition for the film because he gave the best performance I’ve seen from him yet.

Why does the Matrix illusion and reproduction have anything to do with each other? Couldn’t the “batteries” be pregnant and the person in the Matrix not be. Then another person in the Matrix could think they are pregnant and have children but never have reproduced.
I haven’t watched any of the Terminator flicks since Ahnold became Governator. as CA continues to suffer billions in education cuts, I think I’m going to enjoy

American History X is simply one of the greatest films ever made. It is way at the top of my list along with T2 and Shawshank Redemption. If you haven’t scene it don’t walk, run to the store and buy it…NOW! Don’t Netflix or rent this movie, own it.

The library doesn’t have Terminator! It has T2 and 3, but not the original. I am shocked and dismayed, let me tell you.
I haven’t seen it, but there’s a flick called Romper Stomper. Starring a young Russell Crowe, it’s about Aussie skinheads. Not sure what its socioenconomic message is, though. It’s on cable from time to time, but I’ve never really been in the mood to watch it when it’s on.

I’ve heard about those cuts. Insane, seriously. Not to get off on a political tangent, but there are few problems that can’t be headed off in advance through good education. Including a massive, overcrowded prison system that CA is grappling with. So cutting education at ALL seems crazy to me. How about cutting the salaries of the state legislature?
