This is just a quick update; Look for a much longer one in a few days with the final information for the event. I have a few things to tell you:
If you’ve RSVP’d and haven’t heard back from me, let me know. I’ve responded to all the RSVPs that landed in my PM box in the last week or so. (Sorry, but it’s been really hectic both from a work and meetup-planning perspective.) Anyway, if you haven’t heard from me, hit me up again. We have a little space left in the Friday night event, and we have lots for Saturday since our incredibly good friends at the restaurant have offered us a larger room if we need it. Rock on!
For the same reasons mentioned above, Sean hasn’t had a chance to make T-shirts for the event yet. I’m sure he’ll get to it, but they won’t be in the store in time for the event. However, they’ll make great post-event souvenirs. 
We’ve finalized the events for Saturday, and we’ll be emailing out a packet to everyone who RSVP’d with the details. But here’s the rough version: Saturday morning there’s a breakfast and an optional trip to the 6th Floor Museum in downtown Dallas (yes, it’s that 6th floor). During the afternoon we have a kick-ass lunch and gaming session set up with large-screen Halo and boardgames. Saturday night is, of course, the dining out, then we’re hitting Dave & Buster’s for late-night entertainment. Sunday morning Audra, Sean, and I will camp out for a bit at a local Sunday brunch spot should any of you still in town wish to swing by.
We will record next Friday’s podcast live from the meetup hotel (in the same room where we’ll watch the finale) starting about 30-45 minutes after the show ends. We’ll broadcast the podcast live, though we won’t be taking calls from the 'net. We will, of course, have plenty of interaction with the live audience in the room with us! More details on this later this week.
I’ll be on Talkshoe Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CT should any of you want to drop by with questions about the meetup. This is, of course, assuming that Talkshoe is up. (It’s down right now, it seems. Ouch.)
Anyway, more information in the next few days. We’re excited and looking forward to it!

I have tried to make sure everyone is taking care of from a travelling perspective - if you haven’t received an e-mail with the list from me please PM me.
I think we have enough cars for transportation for the weekend there are a few people we still need to get from the airport to the hotel (please see my thread if anyone can help out. I may end up getting in earlier then expected if there are openings on the earlier flights, since otherwise I will be at the Philly airport 4 hours before my flight (due to transport to the airport before everyone goes to work). If that is the case I may be renting a car and can help out.

I thought that might be the case, but I am not nearly as up on who everyone is as I should be (I don’t get to hang as much here as I would like).

You know, I was just taking a look at our destination on the google maps, and I saw something a little disturbing…
That blue blob next to it? That’s the singularity, that is.
That said, I just started listening a couple weeks back, and, since I’m local for once (every other 'cast I listen to is based in the UK, NY, or LA!), I’d love to go the finale meetup. There seems to be some uncertainty about room remaining, so count me among the curious.
I’ll keep checking back…
