Gargoyles Frak Party

Me three!

Until next week! Same Gargoyle time, same Gargoyle channel!

Tonight we’ve got a great slate of episodes scheduled. I’m going to suggest that we go with four tonight, so we can do the four-part “City of Stone” arc in one sitting next week. It’s worth it, trust me!

The four episodes tonight are:

“The Mirror” - A magical mirror is stolen from a local museum and Demona uses it to summon the mischievous trickster, Puck. General havoc ensues. Greg Weisman considers this episode to be his personal favorite of the first half of season two.

“The Silver Falcon” - Elisa and Broadway investigate the disappearance of Elisa’s partner Matt Bluestone, who is pursuing the Illuminati.

“Eye of the Beholder” - Xanatos proposes to Fox and gives her the Eye of Odin as an engagement present, with unexpected consequences. The Gargoyles use Halloween as an opportunity to mingle with humans.

“Vows” - Xanatos asks Goliath to be his best man. We learn the secret of Xanatos’s wealth.

Enjoy!

“You think you can stop me?”
“Possibly not. But I can.”

Um, she has a gun. I’m pretty sure she could stop Demona.

“So far, my plans have always been thwarted, one after another.”

Maybe that should tell you something.

Data! :stuck_out_tongue:

Turning her into a gargoyle? Yeah, that’ll make Goliath not love her any more.

“Ah, what a lovely view.”

Le sigh. :frowning:

Love Gargoyle Elisa. So hot!

Brent break! /Trekkies

Um, just because she can’t use her wings doesn’t mean that she doesn’t still have all that gargoyle strength.

I like the way the mirror got sucked into itself.

Did you mean the gargoyles… or the Gargoyles? My mistake…

Demona’s crazy '80s hair!

In the mid-'90s, no less!

Episode 6 at :25?

Ready! Set! Go!

Really? A New York City cop leaves a key above his apartment door?

Shame they don’t have Xanatos around to help pay for all these damages.

Trivia: Bluestone is voiced by Tom Wilson, who played Biff Tannen in the Back to the Future trilogy.

When I heard “Illuminati” on this show for the first time, I was completely enamored. Such a fascinating topic for a “kids’ show”.

I was totally into secret societies, too. Totally awesome element to the show.
