Great season opener. They sure covered a lot of ground well. I want a big direwolf scene in every episode. The Littlefinger/Cersei stuff is not from the book, but plays well.

I swear to Crom these episodes are so captivating I canāt believe an hour has gone by when the credits start to roll.
I donāt think either of those were in the book or in as much detail, but I think it makes points that needed to be made apparent. I can see where they plan to go with it. Great opener! Very good introduction of everyone again and setting the stage. Itās been a while since I saw last season or read any of the books. Yay! Canāt wait til next week now!
I was reading over the posts and was very distracted by Hilary dancing, ironically Scopehound is playing ME1 and the galaxy map music is playingā¦she is dancing to THAT music.
I know itād frak up the story, but TV is a different medium, and Iām OK if theyād just kill Joffrey NOW, please.

In the first book Dany had named it Silver but after the wedding it didnāt come up often.

After about an hour I started to think with which powerful scene they could end the episode. This one was one of them and I guess in contrast of the books, the repercussions will be bigger in the series.
