Hey thanks for the welcome everybody, I really really appreciate it.
So, yeah, my life was in a really dark place for a while and I don’t know if you can understand that but I needed to focus on some things. It’s a lot better now, I might have changed somewhat though, people keep telling me I’m not as cheerful as I used to be but I’m trying.
I’m a full member of our academic system now, along with a cool job title, nice middle-class income and on tenure-track. Which goes a long way towards putting your mind at ease. And I’ve worked hard for it.
Wow, it’s been a long time, lots of catching up to do, I suppose. But I’ll try to be around as much as I can, if you’ll have me.
How is everybody, where’s Topgun? Solai? That music dude from DC, he was cool, what’s his name? And Leah?
