I remember this episode. TV show notwithstanding, this Captain Marvel was pretty much cannon (in the DC Universe anyway). I didn’t read the comics, but the character seemed to have a child-like (not to be mistaken with childish) sense of justice, fairness, and naivete. I wouldn’t mind delving into his story more personally.

I liked that one too. One of the Flash actually died that way in cannon. Crisis of Infinite Earths. Pulling him out is only in this series though.

You know, this gives me a different perspective on what they did with Kara at the end of Smallville. I thought she’d just jump forward 5 years or so to give Clark time to get established as Superman.
