Ironically, it was exactly a year ago today that I went to see Barack Obama in person. He was speaking at a rally at a Nashua, New Hampshire high school. It was two days before Christmas and snowing, and I’d felt guilty that I hadn’t gone to see any of the candidate speak—even though they are ALL up here ALL they time last fall and winter. So I said “I’m going.” And it was worth it.
The man’s got a fine speakin’ voice on him, I’ll tell you that. And a very, very young campaign staff.

Sadly, signs are on the no-no list, along with umbrellas, strollers, cameras, pins, flags, purses, bottles… It will be worth it, though.
