Just starting watching FlashForward. I really like it. I’m on episode 4, Season 1. I’ll have to watch super-speed to catch up for Season 2 frak parties. 
Um, there won’t be any season 2 frak parties. Unfortunately, FlashForward was cancelled.

So is it worth watching the rest of Season 1 - will I be very frustrated?
shrug Don’t know. I wasn’t that interested, to be honest. That’s just me, though. Plenty of folks dug it and were sad to see it go.
I am interested in reading the novel. I need to pick that up.
Many of us thinks Flashforward season 1 was better than V’s.
Well worth watching imo.
