The DVD has deleted scenes from the different episodes - for example, “Serenity - Scene 1. This scene was originally conceived as the opening of the pilot, but during the editing process creator JW wanted to being with an action sequence”

The Our Mrs Reynolds deleted scene is teh ossim. River wants to marry Simon, hits him in the you know where, and Mal does his speech about women not getting walked all over.
