I love the Inara/Book and the Mal/Book scenes. So great.
One of the many great shames about the series’s early demise: not witnessing the horrible and deserving death of one Adeline Nishka.

Which was why I waited for red lights. If I’m in a hurry, checking twitter or looking at my mail is the surest way to guarantee green lights. 
I know, that pace and ambiance of the dialog is so wildly different, depending whether Inara is involved, or Book is, or Simon… that’s one sign of a good writing: widely varied vibes from characters.
