I’m in the same boat… I have yet to watch, with my friends yelling at me to start watching. What they say: DO NOT SKIP SEASON 1. Not because it’s difficult to follow the story if I do, but because season 1 was awesome.
It would have been pretty subversive if it was older. It’s a pretty commentary on the seemingly idyllic nature of traditional American life. But I don’t think there’s any really deep message under the surface, unless I’m just missing it.
So it’s already in the second season? See, that’s my problem: if I like it, I’ve got to sit through 20 hours of programming to catch up, and every week I don’t, it just gets worse. And I already watch way too much TV as it is to pick up yet another can’t-miss show.
I really want to go to bed but I’m still having issues with work. Frakkin shite!!
Glad I could have a little fun with y’all
Sorry to hear that.
Glad I could have a little fun with y’all
Glad you could join us! Hope you enjoyed it.
Of course. Good luck with those work issues thingy.
Yeah, meanwhile I have many shows just piling up on my computer, and I just don’t have time to watch them all. I barely have time to keep watching the shows that I already do.
The great irony is that I have all the time in the world to sit at work and surf the web or post on this forum, because, well, none of them know what I am doing in my little corner. I just don’t think I can take that one step further and start catching up on last night’s shows at work. Yeah, that’s probably not gonna work.
Yeah, I do a lot at work. On occasion, I’ll watch some stuff with earphones, but I’ll generally get a lot more dirty looks than if I’m just typing away.
Yeah, it’s really odd… I feel like surfing the web and lurking at forums at work is a completely acceptable behavior, whereas watching a video seems over the line.
Maybe it’s just that much more obvious that we’re goofing off.
