I love the Silmarillion
I love the look on Legolas’s face: Like he can’t even comphrend death—especially the death of the eons-old Gandalf.
Another thing that is so amazing about this film. As it goes on it just gets better.
I love how every opinion Gimli has is turned on its head
I haven’t finished that. It’s really difficult to get through.
The Silmarillion is awesome. I recommend it as an audio-book. Easier to digest that way.
their near-denied entry to the elf city extra footage shows Legolas and Gimli in their pre-lockoff makeup and wardrobe. its different nearly everywhere else
He’s the comic relief while Merry and Pippin are quiet.
Which cue is it?
My brother took my copy of the Simarillion and never gave it back.
It does take a while to get going. There are a ton of characters to keep track of. The first time I tried to read it, I didn’t even make it to the creation of the world.
only Galadriel has multiple points of light in her eyes, gives the look of starfield in her eyes
Bloom actually conveys that pretty well. Maybe he just needs a good director.
the makeup in this is awesome - look at the veins in the pointed ears when the light shines through them
Ladies and gentlemen, Galadriel.
Cate is regal.
You are an ocean of knowledge. Awesome.
Galadriel is a telepath!!
Well gente, it’s my bedtime… thanks for letting me vicariously watch the movie through you, and have a good night (or day, if you’re on the other side of the world. ;))
probably why she was tapped to play Gloriana as well
this boromir scene adds a lot to boromir’s depth, his allure of the ring is because he commands Gondor’s armies, and he knows they will fail eventually; he just wants to protect his country, but he doesn’t know how
Sam’s a poet and didn’t know it.
