So, what’s going on with Anders and working out the music???
And such ends the last episode of battlestar I will view on the east coast.
Wow, now that was not what I was expecting at all. Love it!
-The stuff with Gaius’s dad was just awesome
-I <3 Doc Cottle
-Oh Laura, you’re going to break my heart five different ways before we’re all done, aren’t you?
-Really puzzled on the bird thing, though that was one of the flashes at the beginning of the episode, along with Laura’s dip in the fountain
-Caprica was so gorgeous! Really hits home how much they’ve lost
-Laura was going on a date with Sean Allison–any relation to Noel Allison, aka Narcho?
-Tigh to Hoshi as he mops up coffee: “You’ll never make Admiral this way.” Foreshadow much? If Adama and Tigh and Helo die, which I wouldn’t doubt, it would please me to no end if Hoshi ended up as the head of the military.
-Anders’s interview was so cool. You could hear how the Cylon memories, or at least the Final Fiver personality, were shining through, what with the fascination with creation and perfection
-What the heck was up with Adama’s flashback? He’s mad about doing something for an hour because he’s commanded two really expensive battlestars??
-Athena is scaring me. Isn’t she even going to try to find Hera?
-I <3 Chief again, too. “Come on. We’ve got nothing better to do.” 
I really loved that opening. Very abstract and beautiful.
LOL. Is baltar’s dad the new baltar filler text now?
I caught myself a one point in the episode thinking “Ok, now I wonder what their lives are gonna be like after this living on the Baseship–Admiral living on Baseship Deck 74, etc.” And then I had to catch myself and realize that “Frak” we’re not gonna see their lives after this. There’s gonna be an epic frakkin finale with a huge battle and some other goodies.
And the rest is Silence.
It ain’t so easy to accept.
i just want to say, the music for this episode was frakking amazing. so moving and spirited and heavy and it really was the best part of this episode for me. bear really pored his heart into this one you could tell.

i haven’t looked at every post on this thread, but it was pretty intense, watching how Adama went back and looked at the pic of Athena and Hera, then we see a shot of (what looked like) Zack’s photo as Adama packed his stuff in a box. He’s a family man, til the very end. tear jerker for me!
I think he said " what, you got something better to do?" because when he started to walk forward Tory didn’t follow him at first.
Agreed. I will feel a bit empty if we don’t find out who/what Kara is. I’m not hopeful, though, based on Katee’s interviews, stating that Starbuck is left “adrift” while the other characters are wrapped up in a neat little bow.
It’s the one I’m using. Noticed Solai using it also. I know by the time I’m his age (granted I’m still alive) that is exacT-ly how I’ll be. So, Baltar’s dad is my new hero.
ok am I the only one who finds the push for a Tory and Chief romance a bit creepy since tory is carrying around the whole “Oh, remember when I killed your wife and snatched your then baby” secret?
