I thought there were two episodes left
Holy frakity frak on the preview. Just saying.
Support group, we need to start meeting ASAP.
nope, just 1 3 hour one split over 2 Fridays
Don’t you mean ‘Kara’?
its pretty lame they’re not just going to air the entire finale together.
Yeah, but I like to think of it as at least 2 more!
They would have to dedicate the entire prime time slot for that.
Plus, our heads would splode halfway through.
Exactly, not sure I could take 3 hours of this.
I’m starting to regret inviting a houseful for 3/20. I think I might be crying like a baby… then again I might not be the only one.
Am I the only one upset they haven’t given us any answers about what the heck Kara is or what the heck the head characters are. It was a cool episode, but did we find anything out about anything? No.
You are not the only one.
Hi Everyone,
I can’t Frak party and watch these last episodes at the same time.
Poor, poor Galactica.
LOL!!! NO DOUBT!
okay, so Anders is the NEW MR.MAGOO… all this happened before, and it will happen again. “there’s a hole in the bucket, Dear Liza…” So there’s a deep message found in Sesame Street skits… hrmmm. but Kara plugs NEW MAN GOO back in… which could possibly kill everyone on Galactica if NMG decides to jump the ol’ gal.
I was wondering about Chief… but there is no way they’d let him slip away like that, without all the other FINALISTS feeling some type of shift in the Force. so I am pretty sure he’s okay.
And yes… BALTAR DESERVED A PUNCH IN THE NUTS.
So, what you’re saying is that Jesus Christ was a viper pilot from the Colonial fleet or something?
And frakked Baltar?
Another Great episode!! I think we can see that Galactica is gonna go on a suicide mission to reclaim Hera and try and take out the evil Cylon[z] . Also it seems that 'lil Adama is looking for Baltars Blood. Thats what i saw after the funeral.
No the resurrected from the dead and bringer of eternal life thing.
cheeze and quackers
Ack, I missed the Frak Party (and the Friday airing of the ep! the horror!) because I fell asleep before it started. I know, I fail. (In my defense, I did just pull an all-nighter finishing a paper, and a near all-nighter the night before that…) Anyway, thank the Lords of Kobol for iTunes!
Yep. This is Hera #3. The first one was always scared of the set, the second one wouldn’t talk on set, and now we have a new Hera.
I love this show so much. I get the feeling RDM was thinking, “Yeah, Network, you know all those things you didn’t want us to do? We’re doing them now. What are ya gonna do about? Cancel us?”
Not only that–he was monotone-singing “There’s a Hole in My Bucket, Dear Liza.” I love that Sam’s word salad involves everything from Milton to folk tunes. Also, isn’t that song one of those “This is the Song That Never Ends” type songs that loops back in on itself?
Loved it! I’m so happy to see that all these long-standing relationships are getting little grace notes like this. I like how now that they’ve finally stopped trying to struggle out what they are to each other–friends, lovers, slightly incestuous semi-siblings–they’ve come to a place where they just are. And that’s all that matters.
Another nice grace note: Caprica Six and Gaius meeting again. “You haven’t changed. I have.” I think she’s right, though Gaius is so hard to peg. He’s changing all the time, reinventing himself, but she may be right in that the changes are seldom permanent. He’s always constantly adapted; change for Gaius would mean settling in on something and sticking with it no matter what.
Also, Baltar quite possibly has the lowest EQ ever recorded. I think he really believed he would give people hope by outing Kara–that he thought concrete, scientific proof of life after death for non-Cylons would bolster people’s faith and hope. Oh, Baltar, you’re the only one who wants scientific proof for that sort of thing; everybody else finds it downright creepy.
I love everyone again. I have to admit, after the mutiny, I was having a hard time liking Adama. He just kept letting me down, not being the leader he was. It feels like he’s coming back now, ironically by abandoning ship.
The bits with Boomer even redeemed her a little bit in my eyes. I still think she’s winning the biggest douche award, but I really felt how much she wanted something like Athena’s life, the life that would’ve been hers had she not been a sleeper. She’s starting to realize that Cavil’s “be the best machines we can be–because machines can’t have their feelings hurt” is a load of craaaap, but it might be too late.
Adama and Roslin in sickbay, lighting up and talking about home–excuse me while I go weep in the corner.
Ellen: “You had millions.” Guh, I’m going to need to stock up on kleenex for the next two weeks, aren’t I?
And Helo! Seeing somebody that strong just come completely undone hurts so much. C’mon, Adama, give the boy a Raptor–it’s the end of the world anyway, and you took one out to find Laura, who was most likely dead, and let Hoshi and Racetrack go looking for Gaeta. It’s not like it can make things much worse at this point.
And Sam–I didn’t believe it until Kara said it, but the Sam we knew really is dead, isn’t he? I was holding out hope he’d wake up and be Sam again, but I don’t think that will happen now. Poor Kara.
I wonder if he’s the way they’ll find the Colony. The Hybrids were the only ones who knew how to find the Resurrection Hub. Perhaps the Colony, too, sends out signals that are only detectable on the hybrids’ “frequencies”?
Oh I wouldn’t say that at all. We did not find out what Starbuck IS but we found out what she is NOT, I think that’s just as important.
