Yes, Zarek is the rightful President in the event that roslyn dies or resigns. He is also basically guilty of corruption of some kind ( or Adam’s bluff wouldn’t have worked) and he is working to incite a mutiny aboard the Galactica…not someone I want as president so I’m kind of okay with Adam doing something to keep him from taking power…

Not to mention that Roslyn is still alive and has not been declared unfit for the job.

Really? I’m sensing Zarek-death more than Gaeta-death now. As Adama pointed out, Zarek would be fine with being imprisoned and becoming a symbol against authority. Gaeta would more likely come to his senses and have a massive guilt trip. Since BSG inflicts as much pain as possible on these characters, then, I’m going with Zarek doesn’t surivive next ep.

I think that Geata has such a hate on, that he isn’t going to get a guilt trip, he’ll die first.

He was elected as part of the previous administration and not as part of the lawful government that now exists. As far as I’m concerned he’s appointed. Beyond that Martial Law is legal as well.

WE get the big picture, the adama/roslin gives no information to the people, they ally themselves with the enemy that wiped their race almost to extinction.
If you don’t go to all the top executive meeting (like us watchers do) you know squat.

And now they want their worse enemy to board their ship and install Cylon technology. I have difficulty believing even Adama would do this. HELL his ship was the only one after like 40 years to never upgraded so they would not be shut down by cylon technology.

The revolution is justified, maybe not their action but their reason are.

The problem with that is Gaeta and Zarek HAVE all the relevant information and they’re still doing it. They see the big picture just as us and they’re WRONG. If they’re misleading the people then frak them
