My wife also did something silly for Christmas. Here I thought I was going to be getting a Kindle touch, and I open up a Kindle Fire. I am very happy with my Fire. Now if I could post on the forum with it, I would be set, unless I am doing something wrong. If you can post using your fire, let me know.

The Netflx video audio stutter problem on the Kindle Fire has been corrected with the application upgrade downloaded this evening.
Now if you will excuse me … back to Portlandia 
for anyone who hasn’t gotten a kindle and wants a kindle with color screen, but still wants to read on it and wishes it has better battery life, just wait a bit longer, when Amazon comes out with Kindles with Mirasol screens (they will release a cell phone with that screen first), then color screen kindle will be a true eReader again.
