Yup, it most likely is. Lots of old Doctor Who fans in Central IL. Champaign/Urbana had the PBS channel that showed the series in the 60’s and 70’s…it’s the one I watched DW, Have You Been Served, Monty Python, Blackadder, Blake’s 7…etc.
UofI Champaign/Urbana also gave us REO Speedwagon and Head East. Rock on!
Also, less famously, but just as belovedly by us Illini alums, it gave us Papa Del’s pizza, Dos Reales’ margaritas, and the oh-so-wonderful Rentertainment (the best movie rental place I’ve ever come across).
