Doctor Who 5x02 The Beast Below

I like the ending. All for the children.

“If you were that old and that kind and the last of your race, you couldn’t just stand there and watch children crying.” :o

Hey, who’s on the phone?!

Will she ever get dressed?

“Big day tomorrow!”
“Sorry. What?”
“Well, it’s always a big day tomorrow. I’ve got a time machine. I skip the little ones.”

“Which prime minister?”
“The British one.”
“Which British one?”

Hmmm, liked the 2nd one, can’t wait to see the 3rd one.

He is still not David, but he is growing on me. And Amy is slowly becoming one my favorite companions.

Yes, I really like her. He’s just a bit too young for my taste in Doctors, but I think he’ll grow on me.

I’m really liking Amy too  I like her humor and I always have a weakness for redheads

I have a weakness for Scots…more of the male variaty, but still (see: Barrowman). Of course I have a bit of a soft spot for all all of those from Britian - the English, the Welsh, the Scottish, and even a few Irishmen…

Sorry I missed the frak party…
Just when I was not sure about this new Doctor, he spouts a line like that! I loved it. You could almost see bits and pieces of both Eccelston and Tennant in there. I thought it was brilliant. You could see he was getting angry, and then when he got mad at Amy you knew it was because he was still hurt about everything that has happened in the past. What I really liked though is that now you can see him and Amy moving on, and going on new adventures. I love this show still!

The lines between the two of them when they were on the tongue of the creature were inspired and laugh out loud funny. (I spelled out LOL because it deserved to be spelled out!)

I completely agree! I totally got the feeling of that anger ala Eccleston and Tennant. I didn’t see petulant child, I saw fury at yet another instance where humanity has shown just how stupid it can be, and that frustration spilling over to the humans directly in his visual range. Especially Amy, because to his mind, unfair though it may be, she should have known better.

They are quite good together!
