I’ve always considered it Clueless Goes to College.
That was OSSIM! Thanks Badger.
Ah, the honey bear bong. So classic.
Of course, fire and thin plastic, not a good mix.
Cell phones as hearing aids! Ossim! Thanks Badger!
“You look like Forrest Gump.”
I can run like Forrest Gump. Makes my father crack up every time.
Ah, back when Mel Gibson was relevant.
Run, 'talos! Run!
“Did I really ruin Daddy’s lawsuit?”
See, like that. I find it hilarious. Should it be? Am I getting the joke?
As a person he’s quite a nutcase, but I still like his acting work.
I think it was supposed to be a serious moment. As much as this movie has those.
Unless I’m not getting the joke.
The writer of the movie is one of the bridesmaids.
Wow. That’s it? Throw to flowers and they kiss and that’s it?
I don’t know. I’m finding it difficult to separate the two. He’s actually starting to retroactively taint his own work.
Speaking of which, the mention of Mad Max in last week’s ‘cast got me thinking. Any interest in frakkin’ it? It’s been a very long time since I’ve watched it.
Absolutely. I’d have to find copies of it somewhere, though.
She’s 16. What more could there be and still be PG-13?
There are some performers I feel the same way about, but Mel Gibson is different for me. Same with Robin Williams.
1 & 3 are on Netflix Instant Watch, if that helps.
IDK. Maybe there were just better movies to put in Clueless’ place in this arc. I’m with Ferris, though. I propbably identify with She’s Having a Baby more right now. That and Father of the Bride.
I’m going to sign up for it next month. So in another week or 10 days.
Yeah. That’s what I thot. This is one of those films I would laugh at the serious moments and totally…UGH! I’m doing it…not get the “jokes”. I laughed through the Julia Roberts death scene in Steel Magnolias.
I know. I’m evil.
But I saw it with the “cool” crowd. My friend was dragging me along. I didn’t get the jokes and I felt the group of people were laughing because everyone else was laughing. I thot, Lemmings. So by the end of the film when everyone is crying I found it hilarious because I so removed from what was going on the screen. I was a very cynical teen.
Now I’m just cynical.
Needless to say, they thot I was a jerk and was never asked out again for movie night.
