Of course, this movie never considers Roy’s family. As far as anyone outside this secret government installation knows, he went nuts one day and disappeared, never to be seen again. Eventually, his wife and kids will return home, see the huge Devil’s Tower sculpture, and never have any idea whatever happened to him.
