I got “Captain America” blu-ray/DVD combo and “The Crystal Shard” by R.A. Salvatore (Legend of Drizzt #4, or Icewind Dale trilogy #1, depending on how you keep track) … I’ll be reading that soon! (have to finish “Sojourn” first though)

The books, or the comics? I think I have a handful of the comics from that series someplace. Fun characters, fun world.
I believe that I’m still waiting for mine but that is to be expected given international air freight.
First part of my giftee’s present has arrived but the second has not yet. I haven’t received anything…but it’s still early…right?
The books. I just discovered this series earlier this year and am really liking it so far.
I haven’t read any of the comics though. But after 32 years of life, I’m just now “discovering” comic books, thanks to my geeky girlfriend. 
But they’re quite enjoyable … something I missed out on as a kid.

I haven’t read any of the books from the lore in years (getting into decades now…ugh), but you should try and hunt down some of the comics. Some borrow from the books directly, and there’s others that are just small tangents with the characters. They’re more like short stories but they’re quite enjoyable, and just like the books, action packed.
Yes, I set you a PM regarding it. It’s less of a Secret Santa gift, and more of a, “NEW COMIC BOOK READER MUST GET HIM ADDICTED AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!!!” gift. Though I did snipe your address from the gift exchange list. Looks like I might have to keep an eye out for some Drizzt comics for Jimeni.

I made it! I waiting until Christmas to open my secret santa present. Thanks Stephanie for the Doctor Who themed gifts. They were my only geek gifts this holiday season and I love them. My cat is fascinated by the Dalek.
