Cat behavior

Well, this was resolved by getting a cat water fountain (actually two, because the first one stopped working well after a few weeks).

Now the most annoying thing he does (other than jumping onto the counter when I’m cooking) is attack my hand while I’m using my mouse. When I’m downstairs, he’s satisfied to sit on my lap or play catch, but when I’m upstairs, he inevitably jumps up to my desk, sits on the mouse pad and bats at or bites at my hand while I’m trying to do something on the computer. I can play catch with him for a while to keep him off, but eventually, he loses interest and goes back to the mousepad.

Have the computer and all of its accessories blessed by a Preist, that should keep the cat away from it. JK:D

Your cat does not sound like any of the evil ones you usually hear stories about…

Not evil, just annoying.

I got back from the airport at around midnight on Monday from a long weekend. I usually sleep with the door shut because of Rodney’s tendency to attack my toes. Considering that he’d been alone 3.5 days or so, he let me know he wasn’t happy about me shutting the door. I decided to give him a chance and opened the door. As soon as I laid back down, he went directly for my toes. Ended up having to shut him in his room to stop him from keeping me up all night.

Wow. All these stories makes me wonder why people have cats. d:

(Yes, I consider myself a dog person even if I don’t have a pet. d: )

He’s a kitten, and to be completely honest, maybe if I’d adopted two cats he would have a way to burn off all that extra energy and wouldn’t be as needy when I’m home.

Don’t worry. In a year, he’ll be ignoring you.
