What? no comments on the “Semester abroad?” “nah, a TV show I used to love.” dialog right after Castle spoke Mandarin? That frakking made the whole episode for me. Every quirky sci-fi references were fun and all, but a Firefly reference! Man, I just love this show!
Castle said “Wo Tong-ban Niao-zi Bu Zheng-chang, Suei-shi Dou Ke-neng Kai-Qiang”
which the subtitle was an perfect translation “my partner is crazy and may fire at anytime.”
It wasn’t understandable until the second viewing, but it actually was a lot better than how he used to do in Firefly. Nathan’s been practicing.
