I wonder if/how Tamara and Zoe are different though? In the first few eps they talked about how virtual Zoe was different and has a special purpose. I get the sense real world Zoe did something to her avatar before she died. Even though Tamara was created the same way as virtual Zoe, I wonder if she has the same “special purpose” as Zoe? Does the fact that she only exists now in the virtual world make her unique?

I don’t think Virtual Tamara is the same as Virtual Zoe. For one, Virtual Zoe had direct connection to Zoe right up to the point when Zoe died. I don’t know how that plays a difference, but I think Virtual Zoe will be a lot closer to Zoe than Virtual Tamara is to Tamara.
And Virtual Zoe and Virtual Tamara did meet, didn’t them? Virtual Zoe and Lacy let Tamara out of the experiment room Daniel put her in. Why didn’t Zoe and Lacy figure out who Tamara is, or why didn’t they come back to check on her is an unanswered question.
Didn’t they thot that Tamara in the VR dark room was a toy/experiment that Daniel played with? Meaning a beta-code for an VR avatar.
