Do tombs really have stained glass windows?
“Nothing solid.”
Whedonism’s outlook on God.
I get that.
Badger, you coming to the NYC Meetup this weekend?
It was never really clear whether Joyce was the First or actually Joyce’s ghost.
Besides, I’m sure the First has at least as much power as the average ghost.
I’m sure some do.
That’s the plan, although my new nephew may decide otherwise.
Jonathan Woodward never made it into Dollhouse.
That’s just not right.
“I feel like I’m better than them. Superior.”
Well, you are, except emotionally.
I know, I have my own family adventures to deal with. If you ask I’ll tell you about it on Saturday.
“Hold it. Did you say Spike?”
“I cast you out with every prayer to every god that walks the earth and lives beneath!”
How ecumenical.
and my grocery trip ended up going quite a bit longer than planned. Sigh. Luckily I watched this episode yesterday
Not that I’m familiar with… but then again, I’m not really a tomb connoisseur.
Hmmm. Spike.
And The First overplays its hand…
“When it’s bad, Buffy won’t choose you. She’ll be against you.”
Did Willow teach Dawn the exorsism spell, or is she making it up as she goes along?
“From beneath you, it devours.”
“Oh, not it. Me.”
And a truly gruesome inside-outening.
Willow is REALLY smart. She picked up on that very quickly.
Seems like a bit of both.
Bye bye Johnathan.
The manhole cover on the Hellmouth is kind of awesome, although it raises a lot of questions. Who put it there? The Hellmouth was basically an open pit before this season.
Seems like there was a lot of speachafying in that spell, and not as much 17 year old girl talking. But we never see if she did get any training at all.
She was getting Slayer training, so no reason to assume that she didn’t get some magical instruction along the way as well. She’s a nexus: it makes sense that she learns everything.
