Refrence to cali being burned , she was just to awesome to die. She and clem were destined to be married, and have adorable floppy eared children.
Knowing Joss as we do now, it’s obvious that she was doomed, since I really loved her in every appearance. How Clem managed to survive, I’ll never know.
Massive campaign of blackmail and threats of getting a pie in the face is my guess.
