Curious, that. Since we know that Buffy and Xander never hooked up, it’s odd that the “look” was between Spike and Xander. :groucho:

Just watched this one. And yes. This is only the 2nd time a Buffy episode has had me in tears.
For me, 1-Oz leaving, 2-Willow breaking down after almost destroying the world because Tara died, 3-Spike crazy in the church.
! 1 was also Oz leaving for me, now 2 Spike crazy in the church. Willow going all Evil when Tara was shot was sad but not literally tear-jerking for me.
