I started about midway through season 1 — that’s when we got WB — so I, naturally, associated it with Angel’s experience, as Joss intended.

I came in well after it was over. I had scend a few episodes here and there but never really got into it until i watched my way thru Angel and then Firefly
I can’t imagine watching Angel without seeing Buffy. It all builds upon itself.
I had seen enough Buffy so as to know the stories for the most part. I also came into Angel on DVD. And started most of the way thru season 1.
