Honestly if I start making busness cards with great Joss quotes, the business card will take up three volumes.
But it’s California. The set designer probably never saw real snow before. Considering that, it’s not a bad job they did. Besides, WB gave them $50 budge for all the snow-related special effects. And, by the looks of it, they probably came in $20 under budget.

Just realized: That time when Tobias was in prison and he was “Dorothy” who slayed the witch “White Power Bill”… the Wizard of Oz reference also alludes to the prison show Oz. That never occurred to me before. Man, so many years later, I still learn new layers and references in that show. Sigh… I miss it.

Thanks for the thought. But, alas, you - having until recently resided in Florida - are really as far away as you can get in this country. Chances of your acquaintances residing this far is rather slim.
Having never actually seen an episode of OZ, I didn’t know that. Honestly, I wonder if they had thought of this stuff before they named him Tobias Fumke.
Did you like David Cross’s standup stuff? I wasn’t really into it. Honestly, I was so surprised how perfect he was as Tobias and how much he grew into a likable character. He was much more fantastic as an actor than as a comic.
I tend to think it was just a coincidence, but who knows?

Very little of his standup has really stuck with me, except for this bit he did about the Virgin Mary.
In general, if it isn’t memorable, it couldn’t have been that good, IMO.
