There was an interview for a job about a year ago. It was a job that I had no intention of taking, but still, it was an interview. 30 hours before the interview, I checked out the first episode of something called Battlestar Galactica. I thought, what is this thing my friends are talking about… let me see an episode, and then, I’ll get ready, then go to sleep, then go to the airport, then go to the interview… and so on.
After 29 straight hours of viewing, watching in bed, watching on the toilet, watching on the airplane, watching on the cab ride all the way to the interview, I blew thru the interview completely unprepared, flunked it, flew back home and finished watching Season 2. Next day, after I woke up from 20 straight hours of sleep, I joined GWC.
I guess what I saying is, I have a very addicting personality. I find things I like, and I become completely immersed in it. I don’t do anything half-assed.
I do the same thing. I watched 3 seasons of Lost in the month of January last year during the writer’s strike. I’ve watched all but 2 episodes of Buffy, into season 4 of Angel, halfway through season 2 of ST:TOS, halfway through season 2 of Supernatural…

I just finished ST: TOS, I’m half-way through Season 3 of Lost, and I watched the first 2 seasons of Gilmore Girls during my week off before summer school started.
nods I’ve had Netflix for a week and a half, and I’ve already used Instant Watch to watch the entire series of Coupling, all of Neverwhere, and started The IT Crowd.
I have less savory methods for acquiring video.
How do you think I watched all 3 seasons of Lost last year? 
You know, I would love to do a Coupling marathon one of these days. One of these weekends, we’ll just blow thru all of them.
