They seem very expensive everything costing more.
Maybe there is just to many choices. 
As they say, you get what you pay for.
Then again, I see them as a part of a larger costume set. When I see that I have spent several hundred dollars putting together a costume, spending a little more to get the best quality parts is not that big of a deal.
Not that I can find. The colonial fleet website won’t let me register and my search at galactica hero turned up nothing. If anyone has an account at either of these and could try a quick search for me I would appreciate it.
I am bit less of a costume person and have collected pins, pips, and I wanted to add the dog tags. I find when you get all of those extras the dog tags go from 40 dollars to 60 plus. I may just buy a set with my call sign if needed. I really can not afford to spend 100 on the tags.
I also hate companies that make the price sound great until you get the basics like the chain to go with the tags.
I am looking for pins, and pips and of course dog tags.
It just occured to me to check the prop auction catalog regarding Romo’s sunglasses. It says they are Ray-Ban sunglasses. I’m going through their website now looking for the right ones. At the moment I think either the model 3198 or 3301 are the right ones. They are both on amazon, a little pricey but not completly unreasonable.

I think I’m leaning towards the 3198 at the moment. Anyone have any opinions. I recommend you check the website youself, my eye could be way off. The picture in the prop auction catlog isn’t great. I may have to have a look through the romo episodes for decent screenshots

Leah, the Galron tags aren’t super pricey. They are $40-50 I believe and not a la carte. The chain comes with them. You can add an extra chain but they come with one. I think if there is one fault about Galron, it’s that the individual descriptions of their products could be more detailed.
It definitely looks like the Galron tags are worth it. If I had $70+ lying around for them.
They start at $39.99. The only thing I added to mine was the miniseries upgrade with the phoenix on the back which added another $10. Which puts them at the same price at the set from QMX and without the copyright stuff on the back.

Yeah, I think your right. They are availible in a couple of different colours. I’m pretty sure they are black and not gunmetal although set lighting can play tricks.
Alright, the threads at TCF about Romo threads turned up that it appears that Romo’s jacket is custom made. Best suggestion was to buy a white one and have it professionally dyed blue.
For some reason I don’t think they quite work . Thanks a lot though. Do you know for why they aren’t taking registrations, it seems counter productive. If they are getting plagued by spammers at least let us see their information.
I figured it was custom made. I have a few contacts who are clothiers who are pretty good with custom work. I’ll go through the romo episodes and try to get some decent shots from different angles. If anyone has any good ones, please post them.
The only reason I can think that they are not currently taking registrations is that the community was growing way too fast for a while. TCF is centered around actually meeting people and going to cons and things like that. They try to do what they can to sort of get to know people that are registering.

They look black in most scenes from The Son Also Rises but occasionally the bridge over the nose is really shiny but I think that’s the lighting.

Help, I am so confused. I went to get my dog tags and the price jumped 10 dollars. I looked closer and there is a 1/8 and 1/16 version. Is this the thickness of the tag? I know I am making this harder than it is.
Yes, it is thickness. The explanation is that 1/8 is more accurate, but 1/16 may be more comfortable, or as they say, “more like jewelry.”
any one know where i could get the gray and black under shirts . i have look at the ones Aradani website there cool but is there ones you can buy in the store and what are name brands are.
There might be some you can buy in stores but they have never been mentioned on any of the costuming sites I frequent.
You can however take some stuff of the shelf and sorta kinda come up with something that maybe if you squint just right could possibly resemble the undershirts if you are driving by them on the highway.
“Racerback” is the term you might want to use in your quest to find off the shelf components.
