Batman & Robin 11/27 @ 10 PM ET

Oddly enough, no. Can’t say I’d ever noticed one way or the other before.

IIRC, Schumacher justified the nipples by comparing the costumes to the breast-plates of ancient warriors, which more often than not were an idealized male torso, including nipples.

Yeah, you didn’t think that whole satellite mirror array thing was just a coincidence, did you?

What are you doing? Birthday activities?

Barely. She kept running in and outta the room. My youngest actually sat through the whole thing but when she went to bed, she told me she was scared and couldn’t sleep. Thank goodness for Scotch. j/k I’d never do that. wink Nah I wouldn’t wink Nah. I’m just jokin’

Not to mention the codpieces. Ever see medieval armor in museum? I guess they were made with erections in mind.

Threadless Tees had a $9 sale on 11/27, which of course I only remembered with 15 minutes left. Got some cute stuff for my nephew:

The Day The Fire Brigade Went On Strike
YGB
Alphabet Zoo

Damn kid’s growing like a weed, so I hope I guessed the right sizes.

Nudgenudge*

Look! It’s TRON!

Armor was like the car and guns of the medieval era. Best way to (over)compensate for one’s ahem shortcomings.

“We’re gonna need a bigger cave.”

Oh. My.

So now you know why the Batman franchise ended here for a long, long time.

And look they did the running at the camera thing like the last film.

Proving that throwing money at a burning house doesn’t help.

In all fairness, they did it at the end of The Dark Knight, too.

Well, this was…interesting…I got to get up early tomorrow. My mother is moving and guess who’s helping?

Ugh! This music is horrendous!

Have fun! Better you than me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Amazing how the soundtrack of the series goes downhill, movie by movie.

Good night, 'Talos. See you for B5, I trust?

Have a good evening as well. Hope to be at B5 tomorrow.

ETA: ‘A Late Delivery from Avalon’, love that one. Michael York! ‘Ship of Tears’, not so much. It does have Bester, though.
