Bad sci-fi that you love..

This is bad movies, not awesome movies.

Johnny Mnemonic. I can’t help liking it.

Okay this is hard. Most Sci Fi movies are awesome but if I had to list one it would be Battlefield Earth. That was bad but I just can’t stop watching it.

I forgot to mention Outlander, that is a favorite of mine even though it is hoplessly flawed. I love Vikings, sorry…

Doghouse is very funny, as is Chillerama. (Both available on instant watch via Netflix)

And since everyone is ganging up on it for some unknown reason I must now add… John Carter to this list.

What’s not to love, the miracle of those nifty mini-discs that became obsolete in like 5 minutes painstakingly captured in this very movie. Also, rockin’ soundtrack iirc, and an unbeatable premise of Keanu as a usb flash drive.

ICE PIRATES LMAO. oh man.

For me? I was obsessed with Short Circuit as a kid. Even the sequel. Don’t know what it was, but I had some weird fascination with Johnny Five at the time.

Lost in Space. TOW Joey Tribbiani in it. Pretty much why I watched it. Somehow the idea of seeing Joey in space intrigued me.

And I don’t remember the name of it - maybe it was not even a movie but a tv show or something - but I watched this weird old film about martians who abducts santa to deliver gifts in mars. That was bad, but look at that premise. It’s fantastic.

Pulgasari. It’s awful and boring, but interesting for obvious reasons.

Santa Claus conquers the Martians… http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058548/

The Lost in Space movie from the 90s. Its a really good sci fi story with some really harsh elements added in. The character stuff doesn’t work for me at all, but the story itself is really good, as well as the special effects. You also gotta love that they went with the classic robot.

The opening scene with the space dogfight and Matt LeBlanc’s collapsible armor and laser rifle? Both are sick

Yeah. Such a bad movie though. But Joey in space never gets old.

lol, I think that’s the one!! Ah, youtube, I can’t even remember what the internet was like before youtube existed. Which is scary, considering it hasn’t even been that long. What did we do without youtube then? The mind boggles.

It is a Bayolo Christmas Tradition (of one, but hey) to watch the MST3K version of this film every Christmas eve.
