The whole chicken thing is one of the few flaws of the script imoo. It just sticks out like a sore thumb…calling someone chicken? What, is Marty in second grade?
It is interesting that so many different people spanning a couple hundred years have all called him chicken. At some point, you gotta wonder if Marty just provokes that name somehow.
