Babylon 5 3x07 Exogenesis 11/7 @ 10PM ET

This is so difficult for Ivanova. Unlike Nightwatch, she doesn’t give Corwin an ultimatum.

I’m trying to see this from Corwin’s POV. Of course, he’s confused by the whole thing. But imagine being approached by Ivanova and Nightwatch. How could you choose? Who could you trust?

Not those chemicals, Downbelow doesn’t have a pharmacy.

Gotta love it when people try to blame you for someone elses death when it’s their actions that cause it.

Marcus. Not tech saavy.

I wonder if Joss Whedon watched Babylon 5.

When Marcus hits someone, it really looks like it hurts.

Awww! Marcus just knocked out Santa Claus!

Marcus has some great lines in the show.

Wow! He really shouldn’t have eaten Japanese food. It doesn’t agree with him.

The actor playing Duncan was also in A Clockwork Orange. I was trying to figure out what else I remembered him from — he was in Lifeforce, one of my favorite vampire movies.

Nightwatch was an official part of the government. It would be very difficult for the rank & file military not to trust them on that basis. Let’s face it, Ivanova and the rest are essentially talking about a coup against the current government, which the average person still believes is legitimate.

I’m hearing Brother Cavil envy. “Dark Matter…”

Sure they do, in almost every hallway.

Why do you say that?

When Marcus hits someone, it really looks like it hurts.

Good stuntmen.

Alex’s school master, that’s right! I enjoyed Lifeforce for other ahem reasons.

True. I would hope if push came to shove I would choose the “right” side of a coup.

Oh wow! I never noticed the marching music before she drops the flowers on Marcus. Hilarious!

Fights are always breaking out and this has a Whedon-feel don’t you think?

Snack Break! Now to find something that I can munch on. See you all in 15.

Giant space umbrellas?

True. I would hope if push came to shove I would choose the “right” side of a coup.

You only can choose based on the information that’s available to you. And there is no “right” side — there’s the side that wins and the side that doesn’t. :frowning:

Is that what they’re called now? making notes

Then the one Mal is on.

To be honest, it had a very Next Gen feel to it to me. There was the secret alien menace, that turned out to be a wonderful but misunderstood phenomenon in the last few minutes. You could have dropped Geordi and Dr. Crusher right into place without even changing a line of dialogue.

That’s why I love this place- vague, wacky, off the wall Sci-Fi references that people here actually get.

I meant the series as a whole not necessarily this episode. Meaning: I agree with your assessment.
