Yeah, JMS initially wanted to name the wives after the horsemen of the apocalypse, perhaps in some other language, but it came off a bit hokey. In the end, he decided on Timov’s name just as a subtle reference to pestilence.
The actress figured it out about halfway through shooting. She was not pleased.
