Babylon 5 1x09 Deathwalker

There are “some” who believe we never went to the moon and the rockets were just for the weapons.

Found it! Nothing Human. When an injured, non-humanoid alien attaches itself to Lt. Torres, a hologram of a notorious Cardassian exobiologist is created to help the Doctor remove it from her.

I think I know what you mean.
Being a first one, he’s darn near a god
And Talos with the Research!

I had another thought: Deus ex machina

Number one choice.
Number two: Kosh was being a jerk.

I like to think that they kept all the really good Nazi tech for themselves.

Really? I just watched that today too. We coulda frakked it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Speaking of Nazis, I just saw ‘Sohpie’s Choice’ for the first time last night. When Sophie made her choice I cried for 15 minutes, I had to pause the film. It was gut-wrenching.

It wasn’t really a chicken, was it? :frowning:

I’ve never seen it.

Oh, we went to the moon, all right, but the people we sent never really came back. All that returned were cleverly-devised clones, sent to our planet to prepare for the Mooninite invasion.

First time I saw this I thot that and chuckled. JMS is so witty and brilliant.

Yeah, but it was a very god sort of thing to do. Having the local god come in and fix the problem somehow fit.

Somehow the phrase “local god” is both funny and extremely acurate for the story.

Nope it wasn’t.

If you feel like crying for an hour, I suggest watching it. Meryl Streep is amazing in it and deserved the Best Actress Oscar she won for the role. So much pain. So much suffering.
