[spoiler]I remember watching it for the first time and thinking it was a generic filler episode, and then the not Trek ending… Wow, no happy reset and having the protaganist learn our values.[/spoiler]
I have said that B5 is a transitional show between Trek and BSG. At the time it was groundbreaking and new, but looking back from the perspective of BSG, you can see how it was one of those developmental steps of great Sci. Fi. TV that brought us to BSG.
