Agreed. The episodes before this lay out a lot of the mythology and characterizations, but nothing that you couldn’t follow from here.

Can anyone recognize Sakai from anywhere else? It bugged me first time I saw this. Yeah she was in TNG but it was something else I recognized her from. Anybody?
