Attractive Men of Star Trek

Not so much a defecit as a surplus. They’re a liiiiiitttttle too big. Plus, I very rarely give out As. You have to have damn near perfect breasts to make it into the 90%+ range.

Tough crowd. You just have to have them in my book.

From that picture, what he appears to be lacking is a defibrillator…is he actually in cardiac arrest at that moment? (who can blame him tho seeing as to who he is sitting next to)

Heh. I’m with you there. As long as they’re bigger than mine.

Speaking of Star Trek men,

io9 has new teaser posters for Star Trek up

HERE

Nice!!! Thanks GR!

Hmmm interesting… Simon Pegg is the yellow one? He kind of looks like Bashir. My kind of man.

Simon Pegg is the red one playing Scotty… A quick check of IMDB… and it looks like you’re talking about Anton Yelchin…

Well, I have to say it, if I was so inclined, and if the opportunity presented itself, well… maybe I’d consider batting for the other team if Bashir was their captain…

(Who am I kidding? He’s gorgeous. There’d be like a microsecond of indecision.)

Thanks Phil  I was trying to figure out which one was in the yellow, but their explanation of who was who confused me.

Tall (or not), dark, handsome. It just makes me happy.

In all these teaser posters, everyone looks grim.

Which should bode well for the movie, shouldn’t it?

I don’t know. Star Trek was always about hope for mankind, moving beyond our differences, y’know that kinda jazz. For a while I had a pet-peeve about, “Why does everything have to be so dark? Is it only cool if it’s dark?” I know. I know. Conflict creates drama. I guess I grew up on Polly-anna good guy vs. bad guy. They had defined roles. You knew who the hero was. Now all the lines are blurred.

Don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t want to go back to ethic perfect heroes. I enjoy the multi-faceted characters created by dark dramas. It’s just becoming old hat at this point and seems once again that Star Trek is following the cliche instead of defining it.

My love for Battlestar all started when I watched ‘33’ and thot, “Well, that’s different. The heroes pay the consequences, have regret, get tired, and make mistakes.”

Didn’t “someone” post somewhere about this trend and how it is a sign of the times? How American dramas are so dark and foreboding?

No, that wasn’t me.
