Appleseed: Ex Machina 1/21 @ 10 PM ET

Yeah. It was weird. He mentioned assimilation and natural selection. If we’re all one, there is no selection.

BTW, 'talos, in case you’ve missed it so far, almost everyone and everything is named from Greek mythology.

Of course there is. There’s just one.

Awww. It’s always a love story.

Thanks. That totally slipped passed me. I’ll have to look later. Are they appropriately named or just whatever sounded cool?

I would like to see this style of animation done for Dominion: Tank Police.

It’s just a classic love triangle of a girl, a cyborg, and a clone of the cyborg’s old human body. Tale as old as time.

“Thriller!!”

Nice delivery.

Some are more appropriate than others. Briareos, for instance, was one of the Hecatonchires, hundred-armed giants from when the world was young. In keeping with that theme, his robot body can control other machines, as if it had 100 arms, as well as being a formidable warrior.

Otherwise, it’s just a smattering of names and places.

I see what you mean but the animation is amazing throughout.

So if Deunan is Dorothy, who are the other two? (:

Thanks. You’re like a Mythology encyclopedia.

This looks familiar…

It even kind of looks like a Borg cube.

I’m liking the rest of the movie more this time around, but I still believe the first 5 minutes are the best.

Tereus is the Scarecrow.

Briareos is the Tin Man.

That’s my assessment, anyway.

Frakkin with friends always makes the enjoyment of the film better.

That’s a heck of a BFG.

Its the IRON GIANT manga style!
