Animal Farm 1/24 @ 8 PM ET

“Napoleon is always right.”
“ExacT-ly.”

The song of the revolution has some new lyrics.

“The hens sacrificed their eggs.”

Oh my! That was sad.

Enemies of the Farm.

BWHAHAHA!!

I wonder what drunk pig taste like.

Not much different than drunk humans, if some cannibals are to be believed.

Poor Boxer. See what hard work gets you?

“The van was from the hospital but was previously owned by the slaughterer.”

That makes sense. Hey! Anyone see Boxer around?

The songs are catchy. I’ll give them that.

Snowball got him!

“Four legs good, two legs better!” :stuck_out_tongue:

Makes sense. Pass the dog food.

“We will at last be free.”

Heard that before…

Yay! The handsome humans with blond hair and blue eyes are moving in! This should turn out much better.

That was great, Badger. Thanx for the recommendation. I really enjoyed it.

Yeah, it’s definitely a bit out there, but you see the influence, again and again. Arguably, Planet of the Apes was the same story. In a way, so was BSG.

Speaking of BSG, I’ve started finally reading ‘Battlestar Galactica and Philosophy’. It mentions Nietzsche’s master-morality and slave-morality. It’s very interesting stuff. When the revolt occured I kept thinking of slave-morality.

By the way, IIRC, the book didn’t end on that (questionably) high note. The pigs had all taken to wearing clothes, walking on two legs, drinking, smoking, etc., and were for all intents and purposes completely the same as the humans.

Well, that’s where it was headed. I figured as much. The ending kinda came outta nowhere.

Some good light reading. :stuck_out_tongue:

Not hard to pick out the übermensch in BSG.
