I think Season 5 is the best of the Buffy-verse seasons. Joss and the writers were able to concentrate on just one show and they were at their A game. Buffy had a LOT of great episodes and season 4 was terrific, but Angel 5 was the best.

I can agree with that statement. Let us not forget that he was also working on Firefly at the same time as well. Angel season 5 was laser-focused Joss, particularly toward the end, when he was also angry Joss. :eek:

Actually, I think that he was working on Firefly during Buffy 7/Angel 4, and so if he was doing anything else, it might have been preping ‘Serenity’. But he was, like you said, laser-focused on this last season.
