Aliens...

I really kinda like the fourth one… I know it’s pretty univerally scorned… but there’s a lot of fun moments… Perhaps my obsession with Ms. Weaver colors my impression, but I’d still watch it if I flipped past it on cable (if I ever watched live TV).

Frak Ms. Weaver…hello Winona! Seriously, though, Alien: Resurrection did have a couple of decent moments.

I did really enjoy AvP and I’m looking forward to AvP2.

In case you haven’t seen it… http://www.avp-r.com/

AVP 2 releases in Decemeber.

It’s good as a comedy I guess.

And Brad Dourif plays a crazy guy once more.

Seems appropriate to give this thread a nudge given our current discussion. Enjoy.

Heard the podcast. You were discussing about Geiger and his art for Alien. Thought I should mention that I live 1 hour away from the castle Gruyère in Switzerland where Geiger has his own museum. Whats cooler though is that right next to the traditional Swiss fondue chalets, there is a Alien bar, where all the bar stools, all the chairs and all the decor is made of Alien art skeletons. Its cool to sip a beer while sitting on the spine of an alien and resting your head on its skull

So the next time you visit Switzerland, just look up Gruyere and Geiger, or just give me a call

Saw Alien and then Aliens the past week after listening to the podcasts - two of the greatest movies I have ever seen

Welcome aboard, PF. And yeah, they’re one of the better movie/sequel combos around.
