Oh, right- she was the therapist that wasn’t really there.
I haven’t seen this since I first watched it. That was 10 years ago. The problem I had then and now is…and I know this sounds weird…it’s not believable. The characters just don’t sell it for me.
Holy craaap!! Dan Hedaya is hairy!
Really? The general was really the only character that didn’t work for me.
Hey! Was thar Julio Sanchez from
The Closer? Love that dude.
You dumbass, Gediman. She warned you… You shoulda listened to Ripley…
Love how smart they are in this movie. I think a lot of that comes from the unusual combination with Ripley, but the forethought and insight is just stunning.
yes, it is. he gets one of my favorite lines later
I love Dan Hedaya, but he was so miscast in this role. His weird facial expressions while saluting and then looking at a chunk of his brain completely took me out of the movie.
Yeah, that was weird
- Damn.
carnage
I agree but the others feel like they are hamming it up as well. Imma stop hatin’ now.
Ewwwww.
Johner: I can get you off.
can’t you just hear Jayne delivering that line in a similar circumstance?
Looks like a carnival’s House of Horrors
Oh, yeah! I pegged Johner as proto-Jayne right after you said something.
I maybe reading too much into this but I felt that the 1-7 scene was a statement on messing with Mother Nature, cloning and such.
nah, it’s “a chick thing”
I took it more as a statement on messing with Ripley.
The poor unsuspecting cryo dude, I like. Weaver’s performance is great as always. She’s not Ripley anymore…she plays an echo of the character very well.
